We recommend avoiding contact / exposure to moisture such as water, sweat, lotions, perfumes and removing jewelry prior to sleeping.  Brass will naturally tarnish overtime with wear, be sure to maintain the shine and composition of the plating by polishing regularly with a soft cotton cloth, storing in an airtight bag in a cool, dry place away from harsh chemicals. 

Due to the nature of the materials used, slight variations are not to be considered imperfections as they are a replica of a vintage piece, adding character and representing its original form.
