The Plant Store was opened in 1977 by David and Christine Jennings - our founder Kate's parents and Na Nin's greatest champions.
After moving to Middleburg, Virginia, the couple found a charming two-bay garage available for rent on the main street in town that would be perfect for a plant store. Opening The Plant Store became a fulfilling way for the Jennings' to foster creativity, entrepreneurship, and connection with the local community around them.
Though The Plant Store is no longer open today, it remains a beloved memory in the Jennings family, imparted with the same values of kindness, connection, and nostalgia that went on to inspire Kate to build Na Nin.
A percentage of each sale from this exclusive collection will benefit local charities personally selected by David and Christine.
