How would you describe your personal style? And when shopping with Na Nin, what kinds of pieces do you find yourself most drawn to?
My personal style is minimalist with a modern edge! I like pieces that I can take into every season but still has something interesting to it like a pop of color, texture, or unexpected construction!
At Na Nin, I’m drawn to pieces that have a vintage/classic feel that pair and coexist with clothing, shoes and accessories that are already in my closet! I’m a minimalist but I love to *maximize* how much wear I get out of items by getting creative in the styling!
What resonates with you about supporting a small, independent designer like Na Nin?
I’m an avid small business supporter, I love shopping small knowing I’m supporting someone’s dream, the community (RVA loves small biz!!) and sustainable fashion.
What do you love about our second location in Bon Air? Any favorite details or moments from visiting?
It’s nostalgic having grown up in that area so maybe I’m biased (laughs) but I love how intentional the space is. Every detail is carefully considered and beautifully executed! One of my favorite memories is opening day with Team Na Nin, good friends and the community all surrounding the space with love and support. (Also smells amazing all the time)
Since we hand blend our own fragrances and candles in-house, do you have a favorite scent from Na Nin?
Palo Santo all the way! It was the first candle I ever bought when I found Na Nin. I also LOVE the seasonal candle, Bouquet!
As summer winds down, what are you looking forward to most in this final stretch of the season?
Preparing for fall—the best season.
